Ervand Kristosturyan, M.D.
“Dr. Kris”
Dear Friend,
Welcome to my internal medicine practice devoted to thoughtful, unhurried, relationship-centered care—the kind of medicine that first inspired me to become a physician. Whether I have had the privilege of caring for you in the past, or we have not yet met, I hope you will consider joining our practice family.
I was born in Armenia and moved to the United States with my parents when I was 12. I was fortunate to grow up in this area, which has remained an important part of my life and career.
My academic path took me from Washington, D.C., to New York, to Florida and back to greater DC area. Along the way, I worked in research laboratories, volunteered, and, most importantly, provided care for those in need. I have cared for patients as both in the hospital and as a primary care physician for over 10 years.
I am happily married to my wife, Lia, and we have two wonderful children. We reside in Rockville, MD. Family time means the world to me, whether we are traveling, hiking, or spending time together singing, playing or dancing.
I am a lifelong pianist — a discipline that shaped the way I listen and approach my care for patients.
My goal is simple — for every patient in my practice to feel confident that their health is being watched over by someone who knows them well and has the time to prove it.
I welcome you to my practice.
Sincerely,
Dr. Kris
